General Information on Juice Diets
You’ve probably seen the ads on the television. Juice diets are the new craze these days. Maybe some of your friends and co-workers have talked about it. What exactly does it entail?
First of, doctors and nutritionists have always said that the best way to lose weight for the long term is proper dieting and regular exercise. This is difficult for many people to do because of their busy lives. A short term diet is a big draw because many people want to lose weight before a special event.
Juice diets often requires you to just drink juice and water for a set period of time. They typically last 48 hours. So while the diet is quite restrictive, remember that it only lasts for 2 days. In some ways it is easier to complete than other diet plans because it is a relatively short period of time. Staying motivated for 48 hours straight in easier for many people to do rather than following a diet and exercise regimen for several months.
It must be said that the weight loss industry is huge and many diet products are in fact quite expensive. A major advantage of a juice diet is that it is fairly affordable. The actual juice itself is not that expensive. And since you will not be eating any other food, you might actually end up saving money.
Remember, the best way in the long run to stay at a good weight is to do a proper eating and exercise plan. See a nutritionist or fitness expert if you need help making one.
