When a person grows old, the body eventually gets weaker, since it has been alive and functioning for the past, let’s say, seventy years. The body is strong enough to stand the test of time, at least for a hundred years or so. Of course, it depends on the person if he/ she maintains their health and body to last them through their golden years. But not all people endure being old. A lot of cases concerning health conditions are showing through old age. Since the body gets weaker, it is more prone to illnesses and diseases that may harm or hurt the person more, hence, they have become more vulnerable to such conditions.

A common type of arthritis that affects people over the age of 60, is osteoarthritis. Since symptoms of arthritis are mainly regarded as joint inflammation, or the feeling of pain or stiffness, this type of arthritis also has the same conditions, but is occurring mostly when of old age. Aches and swelling with weakened motion in the joints, particularly hands, hips, knees or spine are the common symptoms of arthritis, specifically osteoarthritis. According to the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), osteoarthritis is described as the deterioration of cartilage and its underlying bone within a joint; also bony overgrowth. Basically, this illness is breaking down a person’s cartilage. Since the cartilage is the tissue that is wrapped around the ends of the joint, having this joint disease will make the bones rub together, causing joint damage over time. Antibiotic-Resistant Disease Killing Humans and Swine

The antibiotic-resistant bacteria Extended
Spectrum Beta Lactamase (ESBL) is killing both
people and swine in Denmark.

The bacteria has been implicated in the deaths
of a number of cancer and liver disease
patients. The number of infected patients
jumped 50 percent last year.

Health officials said the bacteria is being
transmitted to humans through pigs. The
increased use of antibiotics in agriculture may
be behind the spread of the resistant strain.

What are ESBLs?

Extended-Spectrum Beta-Lactamases (ESBLs) are
actually enzymes produced by certain types of
bacteria, which renders the bacteria resistant
to the antibiotics commonly used to treat them.

ESBLs were first discovered in the mid-1980s. At
the time they were mostly found in the
Klebsiella species of bacteria, in hospital
intensive care units. Until recently, few people
were affected by these mutated bacteria and it
didn’t appear to be a major growing concern. Continue reading ‘Antibiotic-Resistant Disease Killing Humans and Swine’ »

Drug use among teenagers has reached tragic levels. It Doesn’t matter how vigilant you are, your teenagers will definitely be introduced to drugs at school, the very place you think should be a safe environment. Mrs. Reagan’s ‘Just say no to drugs’ campaign was a complete failure. The fact is that teens view adults as old fuddy-duddies that have never seen the outside of a paper bag. Adults, try as they may, face an uphill battle in safe guarding their young ones from the ravaging effects of drugs.
The battle is made tougher by the fact that most of us have prescription medications in our medicine cabinets. When confronting the issue of teenagers and drugs, you have to give them a rational argument that differentiates between necessary prescriptions and illegal drugs. This isn’t easy. Some well known prescription medicines are being peddaled in schools as a way to get high. Kids don’t know that these prescriptions are issued in duplicate or triplicate, as a way to control the use of certain narcotics. Not having experienced a legitimate need for these drugs themselves, they could well come to the conclusion that their parents are enjoying some high that they are for some reason being forbidden.

People saved from the brink of death by the one-minute cure…

Sir / Madam

I want to tell you something *startling* that you
may not know about.

Dr. Lance Moriarty, the Director of a medical
clinic in Nairobi, Kenya (where 1 out of every 8
people is infected with AIDS or HIV), reported
that “Some patients have literally been dragged
back from the brink of death” from the use of the
natural oxygenating substance revealed in “The
One-Minute Cure.”

The one-minute cure was given to 50 patients who
came to the clinic suffering from AIDS or the HIV
virus.  Thirty of them went into immediate
remission and the rest reported an increase in
energy and a sense of well-being.

This success rate is *unheard of* in the
medical and pharmaceutical world where AIDS is
still considered incurable!  Dr. Moriarty went on
to say that whenever the one-minute cure is
administered into the community, “People come back
to life. It blows my mind!” Continue reading ‘People saved from the brink of death by the one-minute cure’ »
