Calorie What?
Why consider a calorie shifting diet? First of all let me explain what a calorie shifting diet is. A Calorie shifting diet is a weight loss method that shifts calories around in order to confuse your metabolism and keep you from plateauing. It is a form of low-calorie diet in a way, but instead of counting daily calories, you keep track of the weekly calorie count. Let say you’re going on 1500 calorie a day diet. That would equal 105,000 calories per week. Instead of staying on a constant 1500 a calories day you would try to maintain 105,000 calories per week, shifting diet those calories around-some days high some days low-to fool your body’s metabolism. Calorie cycling diet is more of a method of weight loss than it is a diet. It is nothing like Atkins, Weight Watchers, or Jenny Craig. It is true, that some people have adapted calorie shifting diet principles and written diets based on them, but calorie shifting diet itself is merely a method.
A Good Track Record
Calorie shifting diet has been around for all while now and has a pretty good track record. Besides avoiding diet plateauing, this method, if used correctly, can allow you to enjoy holiday meals and special occasions with out strict dieting and you will still continue to lose weight. This has major benefits over traditional dieting, mainly because you’ll stick to this weight loss method much longer because you don’t feel trapped. Of course, sticking with weight loss for longer periods of time means you’ll lose more. Besides, these great benefits, calorie cycling can easily be adapted to lifetime maintenance program, keeping your correct body weight correct while still enjoying all of your favorite foods, your holiday meals, and special occasions.
